Project Objective
To strengthen democratic culture competences among adults in Panevėžys city and district – respect for diversity, empathy, critical thinking, and civic participation – by developing and testing an interdisciplinary partnership model.
The Challenge
Organizations from different sectors rarely collaborate in shared spaces where democratic values and a culture of dialogue are consistently developed and practiced.
Activities
A series of 4 events focusing on human rights, inclusion, critical thinking, and civic empowerment.
An interactive study exploring community attitudes towards diversity and neurodiversity.
Preparation and dissemination of informational materials, including publication on the EPALE platform.
Results
At least 40 participants from NGOs and educational institutions.
Strengthened democratic culture competences among participants.
Development of methodological materials and a sustainable collaboration model.
Sustainability
The results of the project will be integrated into the partners’ ongoing activities, and the established partnership will serve as a foundation for further initiatives in the Panevėžys region.
