Project Title: Psychological Empowerment of Children from Vulnerable Social Groups Through Therapeutic Methods of Theatre, Music, Dance, and Art
Project Goal:

To strengthen the social-emotional competencies of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and children living in foster care institutions, as well as to enhance the psychological resilience of their parents, using therapeutic methods based on theatre, music, dance, and art.

Target Groups:
  • Children with ASD – 36 participants

  • Children living in foster care institutions – 20 participants

  • Parents raising autistic children – 10 participants

Implemented Activities:
  • Long-term theatre education sessions

  • Individual music therapy

  • Group art therapy

  • Group dance therapy

  • Children’s art summer camp

  • Long-term group music therapy

  • 2 theatre performances

  • Group art therapy for parents

Project Results:

Quantitative:

  • 60 children participated in therapy activities

  • Organized:

    • 120 hours of group theatre education

    • 200 hours of individual music therapy

    • 53 hours of group art therapy

    • 32 hours of group dance therapy

    • 20 hours of group music therapy

    • 20 hours of art therapy for parents

Qualitative:

  • Improved children’s social development, emotional expression, and self-regulation skills

  • Parents were provided with tools to strengthen psychological resilience

Budget:
  • Allocated from the Fund: € 30,075

  • Used from the Fund: € 29,155.15

  • Contribution from the applicant and/or partners: € 1,702.13

Project Funded By:

The State Public Health Strengthening Fund, under the priority of strengthening mental health in society. The project specifically focused on enhancing psychological resilience and social-emotional competencies of vulnerable groups through cultural and artistic interventions.
